Piscataquis County Economic Development Council is seeking a Grant Specialist
Under the direction of the Executive Director, the Grant Specialist will research, draft, administer, manage and report on grants supporting the work of the PCEDC, Piscataquis County and municipalities, and other partnering organizations and initiatives. This position will increase grant funding from local, regional, state, and national government sources, private foundations, and corporate foundations in support of the projects designated by the Executive Director.
Following 2020 challenges, PCEDC looks to new year.
“This has been an unusual year, to say the least, for the PCEDC and you folks,” Shea said. He said despite the challenges, the PCEDC still worked to provide an approximate six-time return on investment made in the council and facilitated the awarding of about $540,000 in CDBG funds.
2020 Myrick Award Goes to Tom Goulette
As the past president of PCEDC Tom has given this award to other deserving members of Piscataquis County and now it’s his turn to be on the other side of that handshake. We can’t think of anyone more deserving of this award and we know Pete would be pleased to see Tom Goulette receive this years Myrick Award.
