Greenville steamship Katahdin awarded $300,000 grant for repairs
The Piscataquis County Economic Council announced that the “Kate,” as the steamship is affectionately known to locals, was awarded a $300,000 Community Development Block Grant from the Maine Department of Economic and Community Development for repairs.

The Piscataquis County Economic Development Council announces the receipt of an $18,000 grant for the Moosehead Lake region to plan and design a multiuse snowmobile and ATV trail linking the Greenville Junction Trailhead and the Prong Pond Trailhead. The grant award to PCEDC is from the US Department of Agriculture through it Rural Business Enterprise Grant program.
